ABOUT THE HOST — VINCENT BLACK

Born somewhere in New York during the month of September, Vincent “Vince” Black keeps much of his identity deliberately concealed. Educated at Queens College and shaped by New York’s underground culture, he was part of the city’s 1990s goth and club scene, frequenting legendary venues including Limelight, The Tunnel, and Sound Factory.

His soundtrack runs dark and eclectic: Project 66, Faderhead, Le Destroy, Sierra Veins, Spiritual Cramp., The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Lebanon Hanover, Deftones, Type O Negative, and Black Cathedral Modern Darkwave ect... Favorite films include The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Nefarious, and Nosferatu.

An artist and practicing Catholic with a deep interest in demonology and angelology, his other interests include tattoos, physical training, tactical shooting with short- and medium-range weapons, His background includes cross-training in boxing and jiu-jitsu. More introverted these days, he prefers a degree of anonymity—and occasionally a cigar accompanied by a good book and bourbon on the rocks.

Some people avoid the darkness. I’ve spent years asking what might be hiding inside it.

My interest in the unexplained began long before KBX-13—with personal experiences that led to a lifelong fascination with demonology, angelology, hauntings, theology, paranormal claims, and the mysteries that exist somewhere between belief and evidence.

But fascination doesn’t mean blind acceptance. KBX-13 approaches extraordinary claims with curiosity, research, skepticism, and a willingness to question both believers and debunkers. History matters. Evidence matters. And sometimes the story everyone accepts is far stranger—or far less supernatural—than it first appears.

I’m not here to tell you what to believe.

I’m here to turn off the lights, examine what remains, and ask the uncomfortable questions.
